Deise de Moura Benicio, 30, of São Gonçalo, Brazil is currently in Poland participating in the Miss Supranational 2021 beauty pageant. She is a law student and a model.
If Benicio wins, she will be the first Miss Supranational from Brazil. Her predecessor Fernanda Souza, 26, of Joinville, Brazil was unplaced at Miss Supranational 2019, which was won by Anntonia Porsild, 26, of Thailand.
Benicio was the Elite Model Look-Etapa Nordeste 2006 winner, Miss Rio Grande do Norte 2010 first runner-up, Miss Brasil 2014 second runner-up and a Miss International 2014 finalist. On November 28, 2020, she represented the Federal District in Miss Supranational Brazil 2020 and won the title.
Porsild will crown her successor at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on August 21, 2021. This the 12th edition of the Poland-based international beauty pageant.
The Miss Supranational 2021 coronation night will air live on Polsat, Metro TV Indonesia and CNN Philippines. Including the Bahamas, 58 countries and territories will be represented.
Crowned on December 6, 2019, Porsild was not able to crown her successor in 2020 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This makes her the Miss Supranational with the longest reign.
